๐๐ ๐๐๐๐! ๐From a new Parliament that had both ups ๐ and downs ๐ with positives for Noosa that included changes to allow the Minister to amend/revoke controversial SFDs ๐ and my appointment to the Health, Environment and Innovation Committee ๐ฉโโ๏ธ๐ณ๐ฌ๐คฉ However, โnot so positiveโ for Queensland saw political agendas being prioritised over evidence-based decision making, rushing through of legislation without scrutiny, and even future gagging of debates ๐ Read more from the Chamber, as well updates on the home front, including e-bikes and the Lake MacDonald upgrade, at issuu.com/starnewsgroup/docs/2024-12-27_nty_663/6Noosa Today

It was a โdoubleโ fantastic party at Noosa Seniors to rejoice in the spirit of Christmas and their work this year that included the near completion of their very own shed which is amazing! Their vision to empower women with the skills to gain independence and let loose their creativity has become a reality, with now 90 members sawing, sealing and renovating their projects ๐จ and I especially loved their timber Christmas trees ๐It is always great to catch-up, and I canโt wait until the official opening in the New Year. Gratitude to Tanya, the committee and all members for fab fun times, and to Gemma and Lesley from Unitywater who we gave thanks to for the land to house the new โhomeโ ๐๐To learn more about the Noosa Womenโs Shed or to join up ๐ noosawomensshed.com.au/
