Sanford Middle School is so proud of Emmalyn Trivilino and Alessandra Castro for being chosen to represent SMS at the 27th Annual Girls' Day on March 20th.
Up to 200 participants from schools around the state of Maine will attend this event. The Maine Women's Lobby Education Fund is excited to host the 27th Annual Girls' Day at the Statehouse.
Girls and gender-expansive students in 8th grade are invited to meet Maine's elected and appointed leaders, lobbyists, and activists and participate in fun, challenging, and educational activities designed to introduce them to the policy-making process.
