Sunday afternoon the teams met a second time at the Westland Insurance Arena.

Since there are a lot of players in Canada, Luigi Di Serio said the Crusaders have a good pool of domestic talent from which to build a team.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed former college standout receiver/return Ja’Marcus Bradley. Bradley, who is 6-foot-1-inch, most recently was on the Pittsburgh Steelers practice roster.

The daylong event welcomed teams from Saskatoon, Warman, Aberdeen, Delisle, and the Battlefords.

The hosting Ice Hawks found a tough opponent in the visiting Blizzards.

Rowyn Johnson of Norquay scored five goals and the Parkland Prairie Ice played two solid all-around games in two straight shutout wins over Estevan.

Canora continues to play well on the road after a 9-6 win against the Selects at Cote Arena on Dec. 7.

Team will head to Weyburn for action Dec. 17, then host Notre Dame Dec. 20, with Weyburn back at the Westland Insurance Arena Dec. 21.

Team Canada captain Craig Sheather said Canada was within one shot of being in the gold medal final.
