THE BATTLE OF TRENTON

On December 26 1776, General George Washington had a master plan to get rid of the Hessions. He sailed across the Delaware to get his troops and canons to Trenton. It took a few trips to get them all to Trenton but it worked. Sadly, the troops were behind schedule. But Washington still thought they could get a jump on the Germans... And it worked! The Germans had very little time to create a defense. The Americans won!

THE BATTLE OF PRINCETON


! 7,000 Americans against 8,000 British and Hessians although only 1,200 British troops were principally engaged. ! The Americans outmanoeuvred the British and escaped Cornwallis encircling move, although the troops of Mawhoods two regiments, the 17th and 55th Foot, must be considered the heroes of the battle. THE BATTLE OF SARATOGA


The Battles of Saratoga were a series of military conicts fought during September and October 1777 between the Kingdom of Great Britain and its thirteen colonies in North America during the American Revolutionary War (1775-1783). The battleeld in which the British and American Forces fought during the Battles of Saratoga were located near Albany in Saratoga County, New York. The Battles of Saratoga ended in victory for the American colonists. The earlier Siege of Fort Stanwix and the Battle of Oriskany together with the Battle of Bennington were also part of the Saratoga campaign. The names of the conicts detailed in this article on the Battles of Saratoga include the Battle of Freeman's Farm that took place on September 19, 1777 and the Battle of Bemis Heights that took place on October 7, 1777.

WINTER AT VALLEY FORGE


Winter at Valley Forge was not a battle, but instead more of a boot camp. George Washington and his men spent a harsh Winter at Valley Forge from 1777-1778. Baron Von Stuben was their instructor and taught the men how to do war stuff

THE BATTLE OF YORK TOWN


It happened in August 1781 It was in York town. The main generals were George washington and gen. Cornwallis. The Americans won.

THE TREATY OF PARIS.


The Treaty of Paris ended the Revolutionary War between Great Britain and the United States, recognized American independence and established borders for the new nation. After the British defeat at Yorktown, peace talks in Paris began in April 1782 between Richard Oswarld representing Great Britain and the American Peace Commissioners Benjamin Franklin, John Jay, and John Adams. The American negotiators were joined by Henry Laurens two days before the preliminary articles of peace were signed on November 30, 1782. The Treaty of Paris, formally ending the war, was not signed until September 3, 1783. The Continental Congress, which was temporarily situated in Annapolis, Maryland, at the time, ratified the Treaty of Paris on January 14, 1784. On September 3, 1783, the Treaty of Paris was signed, bringing the Revolutionary War to its final conclusion. Nearly two years had passed since British General Cornwallis' surrender at Yorktown, Virginia, which had effectively ended the fighting. With this treaty, Great Britain recognized American independence and agreed upon borders for the new nation. The Continental Congress had ratified preliminary articles of peace on April 15.

KING GEORGE THE 4TH

King George thee 3rd had an illness that made him mentally ill. When he want completely bonkers, King George the 4th had to be a stand in king. But he only had had ten years on the throne, for he died ten years after his crazy father died. King George the 4th was also obese so that factored into why he died. He also had many wives.
