NAME OF THE LORD, IF THE THING

REVELATION 12:1-3
AND THERE APPEARED A GREAT WONDER
IN HEAVEN; A WOMAN CLOTHED WITH THE

ROME: THREE STAGES OF DOMINION
1. It is a Roman power: For it comes out of the head
of the fourth beast, symbolizing Rome.

2. It is a religion-political Roman power: For it is

represented by a horn, as political powers, while
its character and work show it to be also a
religious power.

3. It is a blasphemous power: In that it speaks great

swelling words against the Most High. [DANIEL
7:23, 24]. It ruled from 538-1798 BC.
 REVELATION 12:6, 13-16
And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she
hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed
here there a thousand two hundred and threescore
days. And when the dragon saw that he was cast out
unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which
brought forth the man child. And to the woman were
given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly
into the wilderness, into her place, where she is
nourished for a time, and times, and half a time,
from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast
out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman,
that he might cause her to be carried away of the
flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the
earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood
which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

the image of the beast, that the image of the beast
should both speak, and cause that as many as would
not worship the image of the beast of the beast
