    IB OFFICIAL TRAINING: In addition to the list of staff qualifications and workshops filled out in the application for authorization, the list above is more comprehensive and shows IB recognized workshops that DP team has attended as well as the PD plan for each participant. All DP teachers, the librarian and the two counselors attended the cluster TOK event (Cat. 3 TOK for subject teachers) held at ENS Abu Dhabi in September 2013. Three staff members attended the cluster math event (DP Cat. 1 Mathematical Studies) held at ENS Abu Dhabi in November 2013. Online workshops are continuously completed by some DP staff (Cat. 1 CAS). Certificates of attendance are sent to participants, kept with the DP Coordinator and ENS Human Resources Department. Invoices are kept with the Business Office.

    PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: In addition to the ongoing IB recognized training for DP staff, ENS is working on organizing the following two in-school workshops (probably cluster events) for DP stakeholders (teachers): - DP Cat. 1 Creativity, Action, Service (for future CAS supervisors, advisers), - DP Cat. 1 The Role of the Supervisor in the Extended Essay (for DP teachers including the DP Coordinator, EE Coordinator) who will be supervising DP students in their EE research.

    SUBJECT OFFERINGS: Subjects that are not color-coded and in italic will be offered according to the students interest and demands. So far, provisional course outlines have been developed by DPC and are uploaded to the IBDOCS section entitled Other documents: - English A - French B - Language ab initio (generic course outline for now to be adapted to Arabic an initio) - History - Mathematical Studies Teachers are recruited and trained (if not DP experienced or recently DP trained) before the start of the new academic year.
