Ballarat Queens Anglian Grammar, Warrnambool 11 th August 18 th August Grade 5 Volunteer Placement This placement was an unofficial placement organised by myself with the school. During this experience I took control of the class for the majority of the lessons, working with the Year 5 teacher to plan lessons to meet the students needs.
Cudgee Primary School, Cudgee 15 th July 8 th August (20 Days) Grade 3-6 High Distinction This placement was my final official university placement. During this placement I took full control of the Year 3-6 classroom and at times the entire school from P-6. During this placement there was a focus on differentiated learning and creating tasks, activities and grouping measures that ensured that all 4 year levels and each student had learning that connects to their needs and areas of the curriculum. Kings College, Warrnambool 3 rd 14 th Feb 2014 & 2013 Prep Orientation Day (12 Days) - Grade Prep Pass (Pass and Fail Mark only given) Assisted in the initial transition process from Kindergarten to Grade Prep. I observed and aided the students as they moved into their new environment and developed and established strategies to make the transition smoother and a positive experience. Alongside the teacher I undertook assessments to determine the students prior knowledge. Lions Hopkins Kindergarten, Warrnambool 6 th 28 th June 2013 (20 Days) - 4 year old Kindergarten Pass (Pass and Fail Mark only given) Developed my own curriculum for the children incorporating the childrens interests and educational development to create a holistic program for all the children in the centre. Ballarat Queens and Anglican Grammar School 5 th -16 th November 2012 (10 days) - Grade 3 Pass (Pass and Fail Mark only given) Undertook control of the class and moved from the development of singular lessons to creating structure and sequence in lessons over the week in order for children to progress in their learning, though the development of a Maths and Literacy lessons focused on mean, median and mode and newspaper articles. Beamish Street Kindergarten, Warrnambool 3 rd 22 nd September 2012 (15 Days) - 4 year old Kindergarten Pass (Pass and Fail Mark only given) Worked alongside the teacher understanding the daily routine of a kindergarten and developing ideas and strategies to incorporate learning and development in all types of play situations with a strong emphasis on mathematical learning through play. Allansford Primary School, Allansford 11 th 22 nd July 2011 (10 Days) -Grade 4 Pass (Pass and Fail Mark only given) This was my first course placement. During this time I observed the classroom to gain knowledge of the classroom environment and structure. I assisted the teacher by working independently with small groups and determining the ability levels of the students to develop further learning. Also I was given the opportunity to develop and deliver lessons. Allansford Primary School June - August 2011 Volunteered to assist with School Club Program each Friday carrying out my own activity in either arts or scrapbooking.
Delacombe Primary School Aug - Dec 2011 Volunteered at the After School Homework Club each Tuesday running a specific activity to develop the students literacy and numeracy skills.
City of Ballarat Great Big Garden Play Day 26 th Oct 201 Organised and ran early childhood activities at the Ballarat Botanical Gardens for Ballarat Schools and Kindergartens.
Warrnambool City Council Vacation Care Apr 2013 Volunteered at the vacation program, assisting staff organise activities and working with children.
Ballarat Queens and Anglican Grammar School 2012 Sports Day/Swimming Events Oct and Nov 2012 Grade 3 excursions to Win News 2013 Weekly classroom assistance in a Grade 1 classroom, assisting the teacher in the day to day activities of the class, preparing and teaching lessons. Volunteered and assisted at Grade 6 Ned Kelly Camp. Attended and assisted with Grade 1 excursion to Science Works. 2014 Weekly classroom assistance in the Year 1 classroom working with the class in small teacher directed groups and whole class groups. Ballarat Occasional Care 2014 Volunteered at Great Big Garden Play day at the Botanical Garden, working with small groups monitoring them around each station. Kings College Warrnambool 2014 Volunteering on a weekly basis in the Grade Prep classroom after the commencement of placement to follow and assist the prep students transition from kindergarten as they move through their first year of schooling.

Active After- School Communities (Netball) Lumen Christi Primary School (2014) Organised a 7 week netball program a Lumen Christi PS with 22 students from grade 3-6 focusing on being active and learning netball skills.
