    Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

    The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) training is a
    unique experience for the Adult. Level 2 formation dives
    deeper into the mysteries introduced in the Level 1 experi-
    ence.
    Jesus our Good Shepherd is the central theme in our ex-
    perience in the L1 Atrium. We are building a loving relation-
    ship with the Good Shepherd by discovering the love that is
    gifted to us in this relationship. In Level 2, we will continue
    this relationship though it depends as Jesus tells us in John
    15:1-11, I am the vine you are the branches. This attach-
    ment to Jesus comes with responsibilities to ourselves and
    others. We will discover our role in this sacred history.
    Through a retreat like experience the catechist will prepare
    to work with children in this 6 to 9 Atrium. This is an impor-
    tant time in that you will be celebrating with the child their
    first Eucharist and Reconciliation. We will have the joy of
    celebrating together.
