worse.
MENTALS: Great confusion. Dullness of mind. Stupor. Coma Falls asleep mid-sentence. Busy
delirium. Thinks he is broken into pieces; feels scattered all about the bed & tries to bring all the
pieces together again.
HEAD: Stupid, besotted expression on face. Red, dusky, congested face. Mouth is horribly offensive.
Mastoiditis from influenza.
THROAT: Red, dusky inflammation or ulcer which is remarkably pain free. Difficult swallowing,
can only swallow liquids, gags on smallest solid.
GI: Diarrheal conditions w/ putrid stool. Marked abdominal tenderness.
CHEST: Air hunger in influenza
EXTREMITIES: Sore all over the body, especially the part lain upon; uncomfortable in any position, the bed feels too hard (Arn, Rhus-t, Pyrog).
WORSE: humid heat, closed room, pressure, walking, open air, cold, wind, mental exertion, swallowing solids, during sleep
