    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

    The projects aim is to prepare a framework by analyzing the financial statements and overall
    market that can be used for future projections of sales and other key figures. This in turn will aid
    in better decision making. The modelling is done using excel based tools. Main data sources
    were company website and annual reports.
    The assignment was divided into two parts and was carried out according to the following order:
    1. Fundamental analysis of the company and sector
    2. Financial modelling of company
    Various journals and research papers have been used in the preparation of report. The
    assumptions that have been taken for the DCF calculations are based on the studies of Prof.
    Aswath Damodaran and discussions with various department heads. The comprehensive excel
    based model is self-sufficient and can be used for projecting cost of capital, free cash flow to the
    firm, terminal value and the valuation of the company at any given moment of time.

    The project was allotted on an individual basis and a mentor was assigned for guidance and
    support.
