Beaverton Police Asking for Public’s Help in Search for Missing/Endangered

On June 1, 2010, at 5:09 p.m. a local group home, 10120 SW Cynthia Street, called to
report one of their residents missing. It was reported that a newer resident, Marc Aaron
Mahar (45), left this morning on errands around 9:30 a.m., on Tri-Met, and was to have
returned home by 1:30 p.m.

Mr. Mahar is reliant on his medication for mental disabilities and anxiety. He has not had
his evening dosage and can appear delusional, anxious, antagonistic or disoriented. Mr.
Mahar is 6’1”, 265 lbs, with black and grey hair, blue eyes and is clean shaven. He was
last seen wearing a dark jacket, baseball cap, sweat pants and carrying a black backpack.

Mr. Mahar’s errands were going to take him around the Beaverton and Portland areas and
he does not have any other social affiliations outside the group home. Anyone with
information regarding Mr. Mahar’s whereabouts is asked to call the Beaverton Police
Department at 503-629-0111, or their local police.
