    Valenciana Festival 2010

    Theme: “SULYAP SA KAHAPON, KAUNLARAN NG BAYAN NGAYON…”

    I. DEFENITION

    Valenciana is a special cuisine of Gentriseños that was inherited from Spaniards


    during early times, it was derived from the Paella Valenciana, which originated from Valencia
    Spain, it is a one-pan peasant’s dish made with rice, vegetables, saffron, chicken and seafood.
    The general Trias way of cooking Valenciana is famous to all nearby municipalities and always
    included in any party menu that made it the town’s specialty.

    In celebration of its rich legacy, the citizens of General Trias relive the past and
    celebrate its present through the very first “Valenciana Festival” on its 262nd Founding
    Anniversary.

    II. OBJECTIVES

    1. To celebrate the importance of General Trias Cultural Heritage.


    2. To promote Cultural awareness to all Gentriseños and nearby towns.
    3. To attract tourists/investors to come and witness the festivities.

    1990 backward.
