Oracle Premier Support includes support coverage for system hardware, operating system software, and integrated software (e.g. firmware). For Sun servers, you get support and updates for the following operating system software: Oracle Solaris, OpenSolaris, Trusted Solaris 8, Oracle Linux and Oracle VM. With Oracle Premier Support, you know up front how long your systems will be supported. This offering includes 24/7 hardware service and all the features of Oracle Premier Support for Operating Sytems for the following timeframes: Sun hardware and integrated software for five years from their last ship date. For selected products, Oracle may extend the technical support period by offering Sustaining Support. Sun operating systems for a minimum of 8 years from the general availability date. For selected versions, Oracle may extend the technical support period by offering an additional three years of Extended Support and/or indefinite Sustaining Support.
