    A man who escaped from police custody last month while officers were arresting another individual for disorderly conduct has been re-arrested. Shershallan Bond-Brooks, 40, escaped on December 31, 2011 in the 2500 block of Monument Street in Baltimore, Maryland when an officer was assaulted by Manuel Imel during the initial arrest attempt. Bond-Brooks has been charged with escape, assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest and is being held at the Baltimore City Central Booking and Intake Facility.

    January 12, 2012 / Baltimore, Md Shershallan Bond-Brooks, 40, was arrested Wednesday after he escaped from police custody last month. On December 31, 2011, just after 2:30 pm, officers were in the 2500 block of Monument Street attempting to arrest Mr. Bond-Brooks for disorderly conduct. A Police Officer on the scene was assaulted by Mr. Manuel Imel who was then arrested. Bond-Brooks was able to escape from custody during the incident. Shershallan Bond-Brooks was charged with escape, assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. He was being held at the Baltimore City Central Booking and Intake Facility.
