-Each Speaker Last about 7 minutes -!st minute up to the 6th minutes, a speech can be interrupted by using the point of information(POI) but if it reaches the last minutes, a speech cant be interrupted. Point of Information: Short Interjection to a Speaker who is delivering a speech. They have only have 15 second. POI is used to clarify, to debunk, to introduce potential arguments. - The 1st speaker will be the Prime Minister. He will define the motion. Good Definition Must: Have a direct link to the motion, Fair and Debatable, Identify some issues that regards to the topic to be debated. Bad Definition: Truisms, Squirrels, Time/Place Sets, Tautologies. - If Bad definition are used, a definitional challenge may be made. A definitional challenge may be made by the leader of the opposition only by providing alternative correct definitions that opposes the topic. Team And Speaker Roles

Reply Speech Leader of opposition, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader of Opposition are the one who can give the reply Speech Reply Speech is not a rebuttal speech, its all about a constructive speech why your side deserves to win by stating what they did and what your side did right 4 minutes of reply speech Adjudicator Panel Assumed to be an Average Reasonable Person Can be a single person or an odd-numbered panel Can Penalize a Debater if he/she commits a faulty behavior like badgering (not observing proper decorum) during the debate. It is the style of a member uses to further persuade the audience It involves eye contact, voice modulation, hand gestures, clear and simple language and efficient notes. Matter o All about the knowledge from research and credible resources of the speaker about the Topic/Motion and how he/she uses it to establish the arguments Method The plan of attack that further manifests how the speaker presents his/her arguments or the intellectual flow of ideas on how the premises reach the conclusions
