Creating a survey is another way that I carried out so I can effectively produce a product that is 100% related and

targeted at my desired audience. Below I planned questions Id like to ask them in order to find out exactly what theyre interested in so these can be applied in the product.

AUDIENCE RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE

Race is the most important category for choosing a target audience, as it might reflects their background and culture they grew up with as well as highlighting their growing sense of expression.

Social demographics Categorising my audience by looking at their social demographics it will initially highlight the spending power of my audience. Asking them about their current occupation is helpful in identifying their consumption habits. For example, a student will listen to music in a more frequent habit because these will have more spare time as is a distraction, in comparison to someone who might be constantly busy with work, etc.

Networking sites are essential when advertising music, because the product can be widely shared through the internet. Finding what websites my audience mostly frequents will help me in the advertisement of my product, therefore stretching the popularity of my product, resulting in achieving a mainstream product that is accessible to everyone.
