Experiences related to positions held: The Research and Studies Department RSD in Center for Studies Islam and Contemporary World CSICW is in charge of planning , managing , coordinating and carrying out all the activities of research projects , editing and publishing which are allocated to its is staff. As the Deputy of the Department Director I was in charge of most of his duties. In addition to that member to two publications Editing Board that are the Bi annual Journal of The CSICW Journal of Studying Islam and Contemporary World, and the Academic Quarterly Bulletin by the same name.

As a Training Coordinator in the Monsefean International for Education and Training Services I was in charge to manage the corporate training activities and supervising students recruitment affairs. The Legal Protection dep. is mainly responsible of the working in the field of protection, safeguarding and promoting refugees rights. The department is concerned with the rapid response to refugees problems, human rights violations and maltreatment. LPO is mainly responsible of the following: 1. Receiving, studying and tracing the cases of the new arrival refugees and asylum seekers. 2. Coordinating refugees cases between the different with COR departments and with other Gov. Departments such as Passport &Migration Dep., Security, Police and UNHCR, and make necessary recommendations for their cases. 3. Dealing and handling issues related to refugee's repatriation and representing the department in some repatriation projects. 4. Representing Commission for Refugees in the Resettlement Committee witch formed from members belong to different Gov. Organs related to migration, passport and army and Chaired by a senior staff from security organ. 5. Familiarity and experience with the refugee settings and complex emergencies could be obtained through working in such department. 6. Fellow-up, monitoring, analyzing and reporting on all the dep. Issues. Refugees Counseling Service is a field unit dealing with the refugees problems and affairs in Khartoum. General Education Dep. is one of the four major departments and in charge of a complicated supervisory responsibility. GEC in the Refugee Counseling Service is mainly responsible of the following: 1. GEC has to manage, organize and administer educational assistance to refugees settled in Khartoum state. This includes all the students in intermediate and vocational training institutes. 2. Budget breakdown annually and fiscal oversight is one of the most important responsibilities of the councilor. 3. Fellow- up student cases since admission to the grant to the graduation. 4. Preparing the Annual General Education Project for the UNHCR donation. 5. Dealing with refugees (who belong to five nationalities) students affairs needs coordination with different partners such as UNHCR and other concerned institutions. The Training & Projects department is responsible mainly of training and projects within the Institute mandate (disasters &, forced migration) the PO is

mainly responsible of the following: 1. Two academic files that was Conflict Resolution & Landmines. 2. Gathering information & preparing and evaluate projects regarding the above responsibilities. 3. Preparing annual plan of the unit. 4. Representing the institute in gathering and meeting related to the concerned academic files. 5. Knowledge and understanding of political complexities related to refugees and post conflict situations could be obtained through working in such Institute (DIMARSI) as training Coordinator.
