The side mirrors are not only electrically adjustable, but can also be folded at the touch of a button on the Fluid and Glide models, whilst manual adjustment and folding features on the Motion model are just the thing to get you out of a tight spot.

With a fully integrated 6 speaker sound system comprised of 4 speakers and 2 tweeters, your friends and neighbours are certain to hear you coming long before they see you.

Staying in touch means being able to catch up with your friends whenever you want to find out where the next party is happening, with built in Bluetooth in the Fluid and Glide models, you can stream music wirelessly or make and receive phone calls through the stereo system of the new i20.

REAR PARK ASSIST

For safer parking and backing up, sensors are mounted in the rear bumper in the Fluid and Glide models to help detect the unseen dangers. Should you get a little too close, RPAS issues an alert to the driver, warning of the danger.

The Motion wheelset is a 14 steel rim covered with an attractive wheel cover. Tyres are 175/70R 14 type formulated with silica for better fuel economy and durability. The Fluid models are fitted with 15 steel rims and come with sporty wheel covers. Tyres are 185/60R 15silica type. The ultimate wheel package is the 16 alloy wheel, executed in a headturning 12-spoke design, fitted to the Glide models and mounted with 195/50R 16 tyres and a black Hyundai logo wheel cap.

New-style front fog lamps are neatly integrated into the bumper and are positioned low to the ground for maximum effectiveness while driving in misty, foggy weather.

The new i20 gets a hexagonal-shaped grille, a signature design feature of Hyundais i-family of vehicles. Its body coloured and features glossyblack accents.

AUDIO REMOTE CONTROL ON STEERING WHEEL

Audio volume controller and mute switch are mounted on the steering wheel. Such a feature is uncommon in the segment, but once again Hyundai raises the bar for improved safety and convenience.

6 WAY ADJUSTABLE DRIVER SEAT

The seat cushion features fore and aft slide controls, plus a height adjuster and a tiltadjustable back rest. The headrest is adjustable for the perfect driving position.

The Motion and Fluid models are fitted with manual air conditioning to ensure a comfortable driving experience no matter what the weather. The Glide models are fitted with fully automatic air conditioning which includes a digital readout. Just pre-set your desired temperature and it will be automatically maintained.

For a luxurious finish, the centre stack features a glossy black paint treatment with a faux carbon grain that imparts a high-tech, high performance feeling.

The new 1.25l Kappa incorporates Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) on both the intake and exhaust ports to enhance fuel efficiency and power. With a maximum power of 64kW and a torque output of 120 Nm, and paired with a 5 speed manual transmission, the i20 1.2 is no slouch. The new 1.4l Petrol Gamma puts out 73 kW and 136 Nm of torque and is mated to a 6 speed manual, or the trusty 4 speed automatic transmission. For the growing number of diesel lovers, there is the turbocharged intercooled 1.4l U2 engine. Coupled to a 6 speed manual transmission, the U2 has a maximum power rating of 66 kW and is caplable of generating an incredible 220 Nm of peak torque.

TOP GEAR
The i20 provides newly developed lighter, stronger and more silent transmission options. The 5 speed manual transmission offers the perfect gear ratios suited for the 1.2l engine. The 6 speed manual transmission offer precise and easy shifting with exceptional performance and fuel economy. The redesigned 4 speed automatic is smaller, lighter and with the new intelligent control provides smoother and more economical shifting.
