Gathering Songs Welcome Call to worship Praise Welcome Everybody Here we are together, now we can begin The youngest and the oldest, the only child, the twin Some whore feeling left out and some whore feeling in Gathering in this place. Welcome everybody, its good to see you here Welcome everybody, its good to see you here Welcome everybody, its good to see you here Gathering in this place. Here we are together, joining in this song Even those who feel that their singings not that strong And as we sing may every person know that they belong Gathering in this place. Chorus Here we are together, with our hopes and fears Bringing many feelings, our laughter and our tears And now its time for everyone to tell the world, WERE HERE! Gathering in this place. Chorus (Clapping) Welcome everybody, its good to see you here (x4) Chorus Opening Prayer: Ephesians 1: 3-14 Merciful God, we come before You with praise and thanksgiving! Through Jesus Christ, you have lavished on us every spiritual blessing we could possibly imagine! Before the world was created, you already knew us and loved us. You adopted us as your own children, and redeemed us through the blood of Christ. Even more, you have made us your heirs, and given us your own Spirit as a sign and guarantee. How we praise you!

Open our hearts and minds to your presence among us here. May our worship this morning bring you honour and glory, for you alone are worthy of our praise. Amen. Family talk - Its good to give thanks Praise Seek ye first (sung in rounds) 1 Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Allelu, alleluia. Seek ye first . . . 2 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Allelu, alleluia. Man shall not . . . 3 Ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and ye shall find; knock and the door shall be opened up to you. Allelu, alleluia. Ask and it shall . . .

Reading - Romans 1: 8-17, Ephesians 15 -23 Prayers for ourselves and others - ( Stuart Mackenzie) Praise Though I feel afraid Though I feel afraid of territory unknown, I know that I can say that I do not stand alone. For Jesus you have promised your presence in my heart; I cannot see the ending, but its here that I must start. And all I know is you have called me, and that I will follow is all I can say. I will go where you will send me and your fire lights my way. What lies across the waves may cause my heart to fear; will I survive the day, must I leave whats known and dear? A ship thats in the harbour is still and safe from harm But it was not built to be there, it was made for wind and storm. And all I know is you have called me, and that I will follow is all I can say. I will go where you will send me and your fire lights my way, your fire lights my way, your fire lights my way. Benediction Commission & Benediction (based on Genesis 17:1-7, 15-16; Mark 8:31-38, Romans 4:13-25) Go now, and live before God in openness and integrity. Set your minds on the ways of God, not clinging to your own life, but taking up your cross and following Jesus. And may God give you a share in the eternal covenant; May Christ Jesus be proud of you when he comes in glory; And may the Holy Spirit make you grow strong in faith and lead you in the ways of righteousness. We go in peace to love and serve the Lord, In the name of Christ. Amen. Men of faith (as people leave) 1 Men of faith, rise up and sing of the great and glorious King; you are strong when you feel weak, in your brokenness complete. Shout to the north and the south, sing to the east and the west: Jesus is Saviour to all, Lord of heaven and earth. 2 Rise up women of the truth, stand and sing to broken hearts, who can know the healing power of our glorious King of love. Shout to the north . . . Weve been through fire, weve been through rain; weve been refined by the power of His name. Weve fallen deeper in love with You, Youve burned the truth on our lips. Shout to the north . . . 3 Rise up church with broken wings; fill this place with songs again, of our God who reigns on high: by His grace again well fly. Shout to the north . . . Lord of heaven and earth. (3 times) Martin J Smith 1995 Curious? Music UK /
