Phincas 6/29/13 Numbers 25:10(30:1)29:40. I.

This Parsha begins in the aftermath of the plague that killed 24,000 men who had defiled themselves by being joined to Baal Peor and culminates in Phineas being rewarded for taking action to execute the couple engaging in perversion at the Tabernacle door. Thus, were compelled to go back and examine the previous verses immediately prior to our Parsha. Curiosity makes me consider the gematria of the number above: 24 is the gematria of #2878, tibhah, a fem. Noun meaning slaughter as in a form of punishment. The number 1000 is written by the Alef, which can also be a noun meaning a clan, tribe or large group. It is no coincidence this number is connected to the slaughter of those who rebelled against YHVH and engage in sexual and spiritual immorality! Lets also look at the word for joined in Numbs. 25: 3. Joined, #6775, tsamad, to become like each other, to be tied or fastened to another. Ironically, the two-letter root stem, Tzade-Mem hints at being thirsty and having a strong desire to drink. In connection with their sexual perversion Israel drinks from another cistern in contradiction of Prov. 5:15 where were admonished to drink waters from our own cistern well, both words in Hebrew formed from the Bet-Resh root Beer, Bear. Is it a coincidence that Balaam the Son of Beor a false well, a counterfeit source of water and light is solicited to curse Israel? If you note the last letter of tsamad, the Dalet, then you know these waters become a DOORWAY for the seed of whomever youre joined to, to be planted within you! Now, Who was Phinehas? Torah gives us a bit of background in chap. 25: 7 - Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron Phinehas, #6372, Piynchac, mouth of brass. The Hebrew language begs a closer examination. The letter Pey representing the mouth (as set in the face) is seen in the verb panah the face that turns. In addition, we note the Nun-Chet root, the same stem as the name Noah (who sought to turn his generation from sexual immorality) and the added Samech (instead of the Shin) which points to Nachash, #5172 5176, hinting at divination, a serpent, brass or bronze and finally lewdness or lust - nechoset. This name then can mean: The One who turns My Face from sin/lust. Pinchas seems to be acting out the role of Messiah! Incidentally, the gematria of his name equals 208 the same as that of Isaac! The

Promised Seed. This is an incremental fulfillment of the prophecy of Gen. 3: 15 the promised seed of the woman who would oppose the seed of the serpent! The battle immediately begins with the birth of Cain (Serpent seed) and Able (Promised seed). Eve, like Mary would have her womb pierced with the sword Word (Lk. 2: 35). How apropos that Phinehas uses a javelin as a cutting instrument to pierce the two offenders to the ground! Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron: Phinehas would be the Son, the One who would turn the Face of YHVH from the sin of The Help (meet) of Yah, the Light Seed carrier! Zimri & Cozbi. II. Our next insight comes from the names of the two offenders found in Numbers 25: 1115; Zimri son of Salu, from the tribe of Simeon & Cozbi, daughter of Zur, from the house of Midian. Zimri, #2174, Zimriy, usually translated, my music. Lets look a bit further. The Zayin is depicted as a weapon, but is also etymologically linked to the Hebrew word Zera seed. The Mem means chaos, water or womb. If we look at the root here, Zamar, we could say the Seed of the womb. We remember that the Hebrew language is designed to be SUNG each letter is a musical note and like a seed that is released, it is planted when spoken and then heard. The Mem-Resh root implies to mar, make bitter, to rebel. This name hints of an attempt to mar the seed (of whom?). Now, the Yod appended infers possession, thus Zimri could also mean My Seed will Rebel! How does this fit into our understanding of this Parsha? Let me quote Stuart Mitchell from the Human Genome Music Project. "We are sung, musically into form. I love this fact. We are all part of a symphony, choreography of a score. Also, when a tape of mRNA passes through the playing head of a ribosome, the notes which are produced are amino acids, and the pieces of music which they make up are proteins. Thus DNA as the base code provides the structural framework, thus the notes of amino acids are formed into are proteins or pieces of music. Douglas Hofstadter. There are 22 standard Amino acids which become a 22-note scale of music, each note related to a specific letter of the Alef-Bet (AlefTav)! Another twist to the word Zimri is #2168, zamar, to pluck or prune, as in a vine. In this verbal form, it is only used 2 times in Torah both in Lev. 25 (3 & 4) and in connection to NOT pruning zamar a vine during the Shmittah or Sabbatical year. How does this fit? It follows the pattern of the Manna and Shabbat where the MannaSeed is gathered except on the Sabbath. Pruning cuts back the vine, stops fruit production for a season, thus, the metaphoric language hints at sexuality being encouraged fruit (whose seed is in itself) being received. We should enjoy the benefits of marital intimacy on the Sabbath and we will see procreation during the Sabbatical Millennium! It comes as no surprise that this Parsha also gives instruction regarding other Holy Convocations which are all related to the gestational cycle and thus prescribe intimate encounters. Ironically, Zimri is engaged in a perversion of the holy Sanctuary the marriage of YHVH and His Bride - in front of the Tabernacle, (#168, ' ohel, tent, covering, from the root ahal, to be bright, shining, to appear to vibrate) of the Congregation, #4150,

mow`ed, appointed place, time, sign, signal or meeting! The Tabernacle was the
place that would literally vibrate resonate with the Presence of The Husband, while the Music of Creation, His Word, would hover over His People during these intimate encounters! `Ohel is closely related to #1966, heylel, translated Lucifer, lightbearer, from halal, to be clear, as in a sharp, clear musical tone. As we stated, he was the one whose original purpose seemed to be related to this same music! (Ezek. 28) How fitting that the Prophet Joel speaking of the last days, tells us in Joel 3:10 that we will beat, [#3807,

kathath, to beat or crush, from the Kaf-Tav root meaning to write, to

inscribe] our pruning hooks Mazmerah, (Mem/womb of Zimri) into spears romach, javelins! So who was this Zimri who came to the Tabernacle Door and why did Phinehas have to slay him? Ex. 15: 2, Ps. 118: 14, Is. 12: 2, each tell us: YHVH [is] my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

Song, #2176, zimrath, translated as object of my song. However, since we know our DNA is comprised of Musical notes forming a song, then this verse confirms that YHVH is in fact the origin of that DNA-Music, and He has BECOME TAKEN THE FORM OF YAHSHUA! The Word made flesh! Oh,

by the way, can you count the number of letters in the above verse? 22! This seems then a battle between Messiah Phinehas and the Anti-Messiah Zimri and their Brides, Israel and Cozbi, the genuine and the harlot! Lets look a bit further. Salu, #5543, Calluw, translated, to tread down, to flout or reject, to treat as worthless. It also can mean to weigh, to assign worth value. Incidentally, it comes from the same root as #5542, selah, an oft misunderstood musical term hinting at a rest or pause, an absence of the voice while the instrumental continues! Weve had a pause rest when Yahshua is executed and is at Fathers rt. Hand, yet the Word, music is not silenced! The word selah is seen 71 times in Psalms and 3 times in Habakkuk for a total of 74 times. This is the gematria of Hadassah, #1919,

Hadaccah, the Hebrew name of Esther, the book where YHVH seems
silent, hidden, yet His Word continues. Remember Phinehas gematria is 208 the same as Isaac who disappears in Gen. 22 and is not seen until his reunion with his bride two chapters (2 days) later. It would seem the same pattern with Yahshua and His bride who is being weighed in the balance to see if she will continue in the Music! Simeonites, #8099, Shim`oniy, those who have hearkened. It is interesting that Simeon also has the root letters of shemen Oil, seed. Cozbi, #3579, Kozbiy, rendered, my lie. Zur, #6698, Tsuwr, this word can be translated as Rock or in its verbal form, to besiege, to bind, to attack or be an adversary! The scene played out before us exposes the lies of the ENEMY who is the Father of the Lie the adversary of the Rock our Salvation-Yahshua! As a result of his actions, Phinehas is blessed: Numbers 25:12. Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace: There is a peculiar anomaly found in the word Shalom in Hebrew. The Vav is broken, why? The word shalom without the Vav is pronounced shalem which means complete or perfect. Yahshua the Perfect VAV-Man became broken to enable us to partake of this Covenant of Shalom! Counting Heads The Final Census! II. Our next major event concerns the census of the House of Israel and the allotment of territory or inheritance as a result. This leaves out the daughters of Zelophehad. The

father died in the wilderness with no male son as heir. The daughters approach Moshe for resolution. Lets examine this a bit closer to see how it pertains to us today. Zelophehad, #6765, Tslophchad, it is rendered first-born. However, a better definition can be found. It is a compound of Tzade-Lamed-Pey, which means to scourge, to beat, or wound, to break or fracture. The Chet-Dalet root forms #2298, Chad, one, to become one, to unite! Now lets look at the names of his daughters. Mahlah, #4244, Machlah, disease, sickness, incidentally, this is the same word used as the sickness of Egypt that YHVH would put upon or remove from Israel depending on their obedience to His Word. It can also be seen a bit different if we remember the Mem represents a womb while the Chet-Lamed-Hey root is the same as Challah (bread) and kallah (bride). Noah, #5270, No`ah, motion, it is from the root #5128, nua, to stagger, wander, a vagabond (Cain was the first). Hoglah, #2295, Choglah, partridge, this is a poor translation in my opinion. The two-letter stem, Chet-Gimmel, spells Chag or festival (divine appointment, intimate encounter) while the Lamed-Hey root, is a pronoun meaning to her. This word has the same gematria 46 as Levi: One Joined to or in Covenant with and this should aid in our definition. Milcha, #4435, Milkah, queen, ironically, the gematria of this word is 95 the same as Selah to rest, await the NOTE Word! Tirzah, #8656, Tirtsah, favorable, The root is Resh-Tzade-Hey, which means to be favored, to take pleasure, to pay off or pay for. The Tav prefix is 3rd person, future tense, You shall be favored be paid for. Again we have a wonderful picture of Yahshua who, like Adam was cut off. Zelophehad saw no son to carry on the lineage like YHVH who knew His seed was cut off, yet because of Yahshua, the Kallah Bride who was diseased, set to wander forever, would be allowed an intimate encounter that would once again Join her to the One who had been absent silent, as she awaits His return Note. He would take pleasure in her paying her debt forever! Shalom.
