SuperSaver f luorescents use up to 20o/o less energy

ln standard two-lamp systems, Sylvania SuperSaver lamps use 14o/o to 2oo/o less energy than standard fluorescents. The modest 12 18% reduction in light levels is not only quite acceptable in many applications, but may be offset by systematic cleaning of fixtures during relamping. Typical two lamp fixture savings: up to 14 wattrs with the 3s-watt Supersaver; up to 35 watts with the 60 watt 8-foot Slimline and VHO; and up ro 42 watts with the gs-watt 8-foot high-outpur {H O) SuperSaver. 35 watt SuperSavers may be used in fixtures equipped with single or h^/o-lamp rapid start ballasts while 60- and 95 watt SuperSavers should be used in tr,vo-lamp circuits only. ln all cases, ballasts should meet ANSI speciflcations and ambient temperature should be 60oF. or above.

THRIFT/MATE f luorescents reduce energy req ui rements 33o/o to 50%o

Convert every other lamp in 2- and 4-lamp 4O-watt rapid-start fluorescent systems to a Thrift/Mate fluorescent lamp and energy consumption can be cut up to 50% | Thrift/Mate fluorescents are specifically designed for use with standard F40 fluorescents in indoor 2- and 4-lamp finures. Two types available: Thrift/Mate 33's that reduce energy consumption by 33% and Thrift/Mate 50's that save up to 50% on energy. Light levels are proportionately less, but in offices, corridors, lobbies, hallways and other locations, Thrift/Mates provide an energy-saving way to assure adequate, uniform lighting and help you conform with government energy regulations. Thrift /Mate lamps should be used at 60"F. or above. Some flickering may occur at start with a Thrift/ Mate-SuperSaver combination at low temperature, but will disappear.

SuperSaver ll fluorescents save 15o/o to 20o/o on energy

These second-generation Supersaver fluorescent lamps, designed to replace standard fluorescents, pro vide significant savings in energy with only 3- 5% re duction in light output. Actual light levels may increase. Sylvania "Lite White" phosphor is similar in appearance to the Cool White light of standard fluorescents. These are available in four-foot, eight-foor Slimline and high output lamps. SuperSaver ll may be used under the same circuit and operating conditions as regular SuperSavers. The "Lite White" color is suitable for most commercial and industrial lighting applicatlons.

And here's our SuperSaver incandescent

Sy4vania SuperSaver incan descent lamps reduce energy consumption by 5o/o to 10o/o compared to regular 2500-hour long-life incandescents. Yet, lamp for lamp, these Supersaver lamps, with Krypton gas fill, deliver the same lumen output. Lamp life is the same, too, averaging 2500 hours. ldeal for hard to-reach installations to reduce frequency of lamp replacements and labor costs. Wattages range from 36 to '143, to replace 40 watt to 150 watt lamps.

And lf fixlure and lenses are ctean at the time of Th rlft / Mate installatiof, lig htlng reductio n wil be less than 33o/o . ThriftlMate does not calse any shadows or dark spots in a lighring patrern.

arc, for example, delivers almost 50% more light than a 500 watt incandescent. . . and 85% more light than a 175-watt mercury. Result: substantially more light for less energy. Similarly, a 1000-watt Super Metalarc produces 987o more lumens compared to conventional '1000-watt mercury lamps. lmportantly, Super Metalarc lamps provide a more natural-looking whiter light than sodium or mercury lamp types, closely resembling daylight. For use outdoors or indoors. 175-, 400- and 1000-watt sizes now available. Super Metalarc will operate on standard metal halide ballasts.

Ellipsoidal lamps offer cost-saving replacements for standard reflector floods or service lamps plus better lighting control in recessed downlight or recessed tracklight applications. 50-, 75- and 12O-watt sizes.
