Intended use of the reset module
The reset module is only used for resetting the service messages of the MULTITRONIC controller shown above. The module or the controller must never be technically modified. Any modifications may affect the operational safety and might lead to damages. FST GmbH accepts no liability resulting from improper handling or technical modifications.
Using this reset module and following successful maintenance the service monitor is reset to "0". The "SEr." message then only appears again after another 8000 operating hours. The reset module can only be used once and will then render unusable.
Application
Please proceed exactly as described in the following: 1. Switch off the MULTITRONIC controller via the main circuit breaker on the left. 2. Loosen the 4 Phillips head screws and remove the MULTITRONIC front cover. Note: To facilitate service work the cover can be screwed in the two upper housing holes using the two lower screws. This fixes the cover and therefore the cover does not obstruct the user. 3. Connect the reset module to the serial port. 4. Switch on the MULTITRONIC controller. 5. After a short time the LED on the reset module lights up*. This completes the reset procedure. As soon as the LED on the module starts flashing the code has been read and the module cannot be used again. 6. To protect the controller, switch it off again and remove the reset module. 7. Reinstall the front cover and restart the MULTITRONIC controller. 8. Note: The reset module can reset the service timer at any time, even if the "SEr." message do not (or not yet) appear.
