Projects Handled
B.E. ( Major project)
Major Project Title: Image Enhancement and Features Extraction
Description: This project is mainly oriented on image enhancement and segmentation.
It gives the sharp details of the image and used for object detection. In this project, the
work was intended to understand some of the topics of image processing, i.e.
generation of image negative, enhancement, binary and segmentation.
B.E. ( Minor project)
Minor Project Title: Banking Management System
Description: This project provided a smooth functioning of complicated operation in the
bank. It contains seven modules such as new account , list of accounts , identification of
account, daily transactions, monthly report, edit account and exit account. The most
admirable feature is its simplicity in terms of application to the user.
Training (Project Done)
Project Title: Software Configuration Management System
Description: During my training period, I have successfully completed Software
Configuration Management System. This project defines the project strategy for SCM.
When formal SCM is invoked, the change control process produces software change
request and reports and engineering change orders. It describes Software Configuration
Items and maintains any enhancement over that and finally placed in the project
database.
This work has been carried as an Industrial Training at H C L Info System (Noida), in
the Product Engineering Department, 16
th
July, 2002 to 15th August, 2002.
M. Tech. (Project Done)
Project Title: A Dynamic Job Grouping-Based scheduling On Global Grids
Description: During the course of M. Tech., I have successfully completed this project
under the supervision of Prof. M. Qasim Rafiq, Department of Computer Engineering,
A.M.U. Aligarh. The purpose of this project is to develop a scheduling strategy that
optimizes the utilization of grid resource processing capabilities, and reduces the total
time taken to process user jobs. In particular, system should reduce the total time taken
in transmitting the user jobs to/from the resources, and also to reduce the overhead
processing time of each job at the resource.
M. Tech. (Dissertation Done)
Dissertation Title: Implementation of Distributed System-Level Diagnosis and
Comparison for Completely Connected System.
Description: I have successfully completed my Dissertation on Implementation of
Distributed System-Level Diagnosis and Comparison for Completely Connected
System, under the supervision of Prof. M. Qasim Rafiq, Department of Computer
Engineering, A.M.U. Aligarh.
Ph.D. (Electronics and Computer Engineering)
Thesis Title: Mobility Models Classification Based on Metrics and Its Impact on
Routing Protocols in MANET.
Description: Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET) routing protocol performance is
perceptive to mobility and scalability of network, therefore, objectives of this thesis are
to classify mobility models, describe a mobility metrics class and impact assessment of
mobility metrics on routing performance metrics as well as a building block of routing
protocols in MANET.
