This technology is now also available for BOMAG rollers with standard vibration systems. The BOMAG E VIB Meter (BEM), for example, shows the E VIB value achieved on the circular gauge in the cab. Using the BOMAG Terrameter Plus (BTM plus), diffe- rent passes are compared with each other and the driver signalled in red when the tar- get or maximum degree of compaction has been achieved. In the next equipment stage, the BTM prof, the bearing capacity E VIB in MN/m 2 can be documented with the printer onto a paper strip. If larger areas are to be documented, the BOMAG Compaction Management System BCM 05 is the prefer- red choice and can be combined with GPS (BCM 05 positioning).
