King Midas
Once upon a time, there was a king. His name was Midas.
King Midas was very greedy. Gold was very important to him. He always wanted more and more gold.
One day he met a genie. I can give you one wish, said the
genie.
What do you think King Midas wished for?
King Midas made his wish.
He said, When I touch something, it should turn into
gold.
His wish came true.
King Midas became very rich, but he was not happy.
He could not smell the gold flowers from his garden.
He could not eat gold food!
King Midass daughter was very sad.
He gave her a hug and she turned into gold!
