NEW CI RCULAR BURNER

Available in internal diameters of 100,
150 and 200 mm, made of brass it ensu-
res thorough preteatment of the circum-
ference of cylindrical objects. It can be fit-
ted onto the Type 450 replacing the stan-
dard ring flamer double ring system.
The ring (100 or 150 mm) has several
little burners and is mounted on a
water cooled chute.
Correct movement of the bottle on the
chute is achieved by tilting the chute.
While passing through the flame of
the ring burner, the object is perfectly
treated and has the advantage of
remaining cool.

hen printing on to materials such as polyethylene or polypropylene it is necessary to pretreat the surface to change the molecu-
lar structure of the surface. Machines Dubuit offer a larde range of equipment to pretreat objects of every shape. The equipment
is fitted with adjustable gas burners, allowing quality treatment at low running costs.

By placing the object on the turntable, a switch located
in the centre starts the machine. The turntable being
rotated, a burner is lit and applies its flame on the revol-
ving surface of the object. By means of a timer, it is pos-
sible to preset the rotation time depending on the natu-
re of the material, in order to obtain a perfect treatment

Placing the crate on the machine will start the
cycle. The burner is lit and moves towards the
crate and stops when the cam roller comes in
contact with the base of the crate. When the
treatment is finished, the burner moves back-
ward in order to allow the removal of the
treated crate and to replace it by another one.
This device will enable the machine to treat
crates of various sizes without any tooling and
the roller is arranged in such a way that the
burner is always perpendiculato the surface
to be treated. If the corners of the crate are
fragile, it is possible to turn off the flame of
the burner in front of each corner. This machi-
ne should be placed near the injection machi-
ne, so that the operator of the injection
machine can also treat the crates.

This newly developed unit allows
curing of objects of different shapes
up to a maximum height of 300 mm
and maximum width of 150 mm.
The conveyor system can be modified
according to the stability of objects.
For stable objects a chain conveyor is
used; for unstable objects mandrels
can be fitted (as 4318)
A powerful turbine is used to extract
hot air and ozone emissions

The indexed movement of the chain
enables the coupling with a printing

The translation speed of the belt is adjus-

The system with reflectors avoids radia-

UV CURING 4150
This unit is used to cure large diameter
containers such as buckets. A rotating
plate with 6 object holders transfers the
objects to the enclosed curing station.
The object holders are adjustable for dif-
ferent object diameters. Both the
speeds of transfer and rotation in front
of UV are adjustable.

A dryer type 44/361 either with a
flat coveyor or equipped with bas-
kets. In both cases the oven is syn-
chronised with the machine.
THERMO UNIT 113
Electrical device used to heat stainless
steel mesh screens in order to melt the
thermo enamels, wich become liquid at
about 60c.
The device applies to the screen mesh
low voltage current, which can be
adjusted to change the temperature of
the screen mesh, which acts as a resi-
tance.
When using polyester screens, an infra
red heater type 113 B can be used ins-
tead of the thermo unit 113

The turntable fitted with 12 rotating
mandrels allows to position two burners
on the transfer perimeter of the objects
or parallel to the turntable.
Cylindrical object
The object is flame treated during turn-
table stop. A round belt rotates the
mandrel during the treatment. The rota-
tion speed of the mandrel is adjustable.
Flat or oval object
A burner is placed inside the circle of
the mandrels and another one outside.
The treatment is performed during turn-
table transfer.
Small flat object (for ex: cover, cap)
A burner can be installed parallel to the
turntable surface to allow object treat-
ment during transfer.
In case of object with large diameter,
one mandrel out of two will be used.
A closed guarding guards the operator
from the burners.
The burners are controlled by a safety
probe that cuts off the gas supply if the
flame goes off.
A piezoelectric lighter ensures the
burners ignition.
