MOST APPEALING PONY to follow the showjumping in the showjumping ring.


Fun class open to non-members. 4.00 entry fee. Horse/pony or rider not to have entered classes 1 to
13 or classes 16 to 24 or 38-46. Pony to be shown in natural state. Medal to the winner.

Class 25 - Lead Rein (rider 9 years and under)
Class 26 - 12 years and under
Class 27 - 13 years and over (Class may be split if sufficient entries)

SHOWJUMPING 9.30am
Classes 28 and 29 only open to horse and rider combinations that have not won 3 red rosettes in any
jumping class, excluding Lead Rein, at any RRC or other show in previous seasons
Rider/horse/pony may only enter 2 showjumping classes. Horse/pony only eligible to compete once
in any SJ class except for LR.
Class 28 - Beginners Pony N/Exc 14.2hh (55cm) inc LR competitors off the lead rein (trophy to be
awarded to the best under 12 rider at the annual gala presentation evening)
Class 29 - Beginners Horse Exc 14.2hh (60cm)
Class 30 - Lead Rein - rider 9 years and under (45cm) held over a shortened course over 2 rounds.
LR to be attached to the noseband

Competitors, except LR, may undertake a timed jump off immediately after completing a clear first round at the
discretion of the showjumping judge. Non-clear round competitors may also be required to undertake a jump off
depending on class sizes.

Showjumping Faults
Knockdown = 4 faults. Refusal = 4 faults. 3rd refusal, fall or dismount = elimination. Horse or pony fall = elimination.

WORKING HUNTER 9.30am


Class 38 - Lead Rein, rider 9 years and under (40cm). LR to be attached to the noseband.
Class 39 - Cradle stakes N/Exc 12hh. Rider 10 years and under. Open to LR competitors off the
LR (55cm)
Class 40 - Nursery Stakes N/Exc 13hh. Rider 13 years and under (60cm). Not open to riders who
have entered Class 38
Beginners Classes 41 and 42 only open to horse and rider combinations that have not won 3 red
rosettes in any WH class at Beginners or higher level at any RRC or other show in previous seasons.
Class 41 - Beginners N/Exc 14hh (55cm)
Class 42 - Beginners Exc 14hh (60cm)
Class 43 - Novice N/Exc 14hh (65cm)
Class 44 - Novice Exc 14hh (70cm)
Class 45 - Intermediate horse or pony max jump height 75cm {spurs allowed}
Class 46 - Horse or pony max jump height 90cm {spurs allowed}
All horses/ponies in WH classes must be plaited or hogged with the exception of pure bred
Mountain and Moorland.
Rider/horse/pony may only enter 2 WH classes.
Horses/ponies only to compete once in any WH class.

GAMES (Not before 2pm) Three Games in each age group. Classes may be split if sufficient entries.
Class 47 - Lead Rein (Rider 9 years and under) LR must be attached to the noseband and not the bit
Class 48 - 12 years and under Class 49 - 13 years and over
A two minute call will be issued to any competitor not present when required. Notify the caravan if
you are engaged in another class otherwise you may be removed from the class. We always try to
accommodate competitors whose classes clash. However, on occasions, this is not possible.

NOTES ON 2015 SHOWS

All competitors must have third party liability insurance.


Equestrian competition is a high risk sporting activity and competitors compete at their own risk.
Competitors and spectators under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

All ages as at 1 January 2015.
Spurs are only allowed in classes identified. However, competitors under the age of 16 years are
not allowed to wear spurs in any class.
Whips: Maximum length of 75cm (30) in all SJ and WH classes.
SJ and WH heights are at Judges discretion and subject to ground conditions.
Whilst mounted, competitors must wear a British Standard approved hard hat.
Competitors must have attained their third birthday.
Lead rein ponies to be shown in snaffle bridle.

Lead rein competitors to be 9 years and under (age at 1 January 2015)

First Ridden competitors to be 12 years and under (age at 1 January 2015)
All earrings and body studs to be removed before entering any ring as a competitor.
Novice competitors may only retain novice status for one season except showjumping and
working hunter.
Parking is available on the showground at your own risk. The Committee accept no responsibility
for damage to vehicles. Parking is to be confined to designated areas other than Judges and
Officials.
The Committee reserves the right to cancel any class if fewer than 4 entries are received. In this
case entries will be refunded.
The Committee reserves the right to omit classes from future shows if insufficient entries.

POINTS AND TROPHIES


Competitors who enter classes as Full Annual Members are only eligible for points and trophies.

Members must attend THREE shows to qualify for trophies. Points are awarded to 6 place.

Prizes will be presented to 4 place at the Annual Presentation Evening. These will be competed for
throughout the season on a points system. Games: One set of points cover three games.
