There is a one-off fee of £3.00 per rider (NOT per class) to go towards first aid cover
CLASS 1 50cm in 1st phase. Riders may be assisted in this class, but Leading Rein will not be accepted.
12 years & under. Combination not to have been placed 1st – 6th at 70cm or above.
Single Phase. ENTRY FEE £18.00
CLASS 2 60cm in 1st phase. Combination not to have been placed 1st – 6th at 80cm or above.

Class 3 70cm in 1st phase. Combination not to have been placed 1st – 6th at 90cm or above.

Royal Windsor Horse Show Pony Club Show Jumping – Area 13 Qualifier Places - Conditions:
The combination who is placed 1st at this competition will be eligible to take one of the Area 13 places for the
Pony Club Show Jumping Class at Royal Windsor Horse Show (5 May 2024). To take this place:
➢ You must have not incurred any more than 16 Jumping Faults.
➢ You must be a fully paid-up member of the Pony Club.
➢ A Rider can only have one qualification. If the Rider qualifies on more than one horse, they must choose
the horse they will ride, and the place will pass down assuming the next combination meets the first 2
conditions.
➢ If the place is not used it will be put back to the places that are part of the Area 13 draw.
Note: There is also a further opportunity to qualify for the Pony Club Show Jumping at Royal Windsor Horse
Show at the Area 13 Spring Festival Show Jumping Qualifier competition at BCA on 21 January 2024. Check that
schedule on the Area 13 Website for more information.
RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: PLEASE READ
Entries are accepted and admission granted only subject to the following conditions, which are deemed
to have been accepted by each competitor.
No rider numbers will be issued at the venue, you will need to provide your own bridle number
or bib number.
PLEASE BRING YOUR HAT (AND BODY PROTECTOR, IF BEING WORN) TO THE ENTRY SECRETARY
OFFICE FOR CHECKING/TAGGING.
BODY PROTECTORS MUST HAVE THE BLUE 2018 BETA SAFETY LABEL
Ponies/horses must not be left tied to the outside of horse boxes/trailers at any time. No dogs
allowed at the venue.
➢ This competition will be run in accordance with Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2023. Saddlery
and Dress rules will be strictly enforced, including Spur and Whip Rules. It is the responsibility
of all competitors to know the rules. Please refer to the main Pony Club website for a
downloadable copy of the Rule Book.
➢ The judge’s decision is final. Any objection must be made to the secretary with a deposit of
£15.00 no later than 20 minutes after the incident.
➢ The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry without stating a reason for doing so and
also reserve the right to eliminate any competitor who in their opinion places her/himself or
others in danger or fails to observe rules.
➢ Entry fees will only be refunded at the discretion of the organisers and on production of a valid
vet’s or doctor’s certificate presented in advance of the competition. In the event of cancellation
notification will be posted on the B&SC website. Monies will be refunded less £5.00 per entry
administration fee.
➢ No Horses/ponies may be ridden other than by the competitor on the day of the competition.
HEALTH AND SAFETY: The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure
the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take
all reasonable precautions to prevent and avoid accidents occurring, and must obey the instructions
of the Organisers, and all the Officials and Stewards.
LEGAL LIABILITY: Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organisers,
or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the Organisers of any event to which these
rules apply, nor the Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts
any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators,
land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether
caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
Insurance: Please be aware that all non-Pony Club competitors/spectators are not covered by The
Pony Club insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Bisley & Sandown Chase
Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-
Members and their insurance will not cover you.
