5. CONCLUSIONS
Report or Each chapter should have a Conclusions/summary section.
5.1 Reference Style
All the material that is not original with you must be accompanied by a reference to its
source. This system has two parts, text citation in each chapter and the reference list
after the last chapter of the report.
The text citation appears where the material to be cited is presented in each
chapter. The citation refers readers to a source in the reference list by the authors
name and the year of publication.
For example:
i) One recent report (Carson 2006) finds evidence that, there
ii) yielded varying results (Jones 2005; Marks and Smith 2004).
iii) Use the first authors name followed by et al. in citations for publications with
three or more authors in the text.
The reference list shall appear after the last chapter of the BTP report.
References begin with the names of the author(s), last name first for all authors,
followed by the year of publication in parentheses. All the references shall be
arranged in alphabetical order according to the last name of the First author. The
examples of referencing style of publications in Journals, Conference Proceedings
and Symposiums, Books and Web pages are presented below.
