Pimps are predators and referred to as traffickers, as they commit the crime of
human trafficking.
!A pimp is someone who forces another person into prostitution, and then keeps
some or all of their earnings. A pimp makes arrangements for customers to
have sex with their victim.
!Pimps often tattoo or brand their victims to show that they are property, much
like a rancher might brand their cattle. Pimps sometimes sell or trade their
victims to other pimps, and victims may have multiple branding tattoos.
