Input levels 01 up to +40 db can be measured without
overloadIng the voltmeter. ADJ TNl'UT potentiometer
Rl09 is a nOn Inductive varia.ble resistance w})ich
further varies the input level. The signal is coupled
directly to tube V 101, a dual-triode untuned resistance
coupled ampliIier I and from there to the centertap of
function seleclor switch SlOSB. The 476J-l functions
a:s a ,,"1 vm '.'.'hen S105 is in position 3, and as a selec
tive vollmeter in positions 1, 2, and 5. The. CAL 1
position ls a no-signal positiOn, Filter FLI01 is a
low pass filter which presents a high impedance to
signals above 750 kc and a low impedance to lower
frequencies. The signal is applied from the output
of F L 101 to !he pr i mar y w lnding'S or ring modulator
transfo'r mer T 102.
