ACTIVITY SHEET

EPISODE 8: CROCODILE TOURISM

Our activity sheet this week contains 4 activities, which look at the way words are
linked in spoken English.
To make your spoken English sound natural you need to link words ending in a 'final
consonant' sound to words with an 'initial vowel' sound.
You can listen to the audio for this activity on the Study English website. Go to
http://abcasiapacific.com/studyenglish/ open Episode 8 and then the Activities
section.
ACTIVITY 1
Listen to the way the reporter links her words when describing the crocodile attack
incident. (Look for the Listen icon
on the activities section on our website
to play the audio)
