SAS, the business data specialists, recently undertook a refurbishment of their catering facilities at Wittington House, Marlow, to include PURE
drinking water systems on this extensive estate.
Wittington House is an elegant country mansion built in 1898 in Medmenham where modern office interiors
have been cleverly integrated within an attractive historic setting. The property is occupied by SAS UK &
Ireland who are market leaders in the provision of business analytics software.
Richard Sanger is the M&E Manager at SAS who took on the task of selecting the most suitable supplier for
purified drinking water. His line manager had previously spotted the PURE Water System at a networking event
and been impressed by its stylish appearance and versatility with hot, cold, chilled and sparkling water
options.
During a detailed analysis, Richard and his colleagues compared the rival merits of the PURE Water system against Zip Water Heaters, exploring
cost, maintainability, environmental impact and suitability.
Once all the information was obtained, the PURE Water companys Touch Tap was the system we preferred. Ultimately, I believe the snazzy
touch screen was the overall winning feature.
Staff and guest reactions have been great. They love the futuristic look of the touch screen as well as the stylish design of the tap. Many of our
staff really like the sparkling option and go out of their way to get to a PURE Touch Tap that offers sparkling water.
SAS have nine Touch Taps installed in three buildings with another five installations planned once further
kitchens have been refurbished. Within Wittington House itself there are two PURE Touch systems together with
a PURE Water bottling tap.
Richard Sanger remarked:
The PURE Water bottling system has been a great improvement for the Catering Department and reduced
our outlay costs as we no longer have to purchase bottled water, cooler bottles and plastic cups. This new
bottling system also works well in line with our Environmental Policy and ISO14001 objectives.

PURE Water systems are installed in every one of them.
Norways largest financial services group, DNB, occupies three of the Barcode office blocks located close to the Oslo Opera House. The three

The four other high-profile companies making full use of PURE filtered drinking water in this modern office centre are the business software
specialists, Visma, the integrated accountancy firm, Deloitte, the life insurance and pensions specialist, KLP, and the multinational professional
services firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers.
