NEGATIVE SIDE
Sometimes induction schedule clashed with other
activities of the HSE
Inefficient as HSE may provide induction several
times a day
Lack of preparation because sometimes sudden
request for induction
Induction time sometimes becomes shorter and in
a hurry because the contractor must immediately
perform the job
For sudden work, the contractor can not directly do
the work because have to wait induction schedule
(an exception can be made if the work is urgent)

POSITIVE SIDE
Contractors can get induction and peform the job
in anytime

Induction schedule will not clash with other HSE


activities

Induction of multiple contractors can be done at


the same time as well as making it more efficient
Better preparation for the materials, the rooms,
projectors, HSE personnel
Inspection times more adequate safety
documents, so that a better job planning
