Micropak 9
The Micropak 9 is a data processing unit for
2D (X, Y) coordinates measurement data.
This features various set up and
measurement icon to ensure a simple and
easy one-flip operation. The Micropak 9 is
also available with a microscope with a
digital read out system.
Details is introduced on
the page 8 - 9.
OPTOEYE A2
The OPTOEYE A2 is an edge sensor unit for
projected image on screen. It can provide
an automatic edge detection with your
ordinary profile projector.
The OPTOEYE A2 detects the edge position
automatically improving the measurement
speed, accuracy and consistency. The edge
position data obtained can be transmitted
to the Micropak 9 for 2D calculation.

Smart tool
By moving an image into the
central measuring circle,
QSPak automatically scans
and detects the clearest
edge and centers it in the
circle. It's faster and more
accurate than using a profile
projector or microscope with
cross-hairs.
Template tools
Standard templates
Grid
Cross hair
Concentric circles
Extended templates
Four other templates are available as extended template: cross, circle, square and
angle. The size of a diameter, a distance, an angle, etc. can be changed just by
entering a desired value with the keyboard. It allows simple comparison
measurements, only much faster and more accurately than with a profile projector.

Graphic window
The measurement results and measured
elements are plotted in the graphic
window in real-time. By using this
function the operator can check the
current measuring position at a glance.
The graphic window can be used for
geometrical calculation between features
to speed up measurement.
Security function
This function limits access to the QSPak
operation by requiring a password for
access. This prevents unauthorized users
from changing part programs,
measuring conditions, etc.
Image capture
A color CCD camera is used to provide
for realistic workpiece observation and
measurement. The color image can be
captured and
stored as a
bitmap image
for other uses
and can be
printed out.
Micropak 9
2D Data Processing Unit for Optical Instruments
Features
Large LCD panel and interactive operation permit
simple data processing.
Part coordinate system setting function eliminates
the need to align the workpiece on the workstage
to minimize the set up time.
Teaching function, memory of sequence of
measurement procedures is provided for repeat
measurement by simple data entry.
The measurement data can be output with
CSV format for use with a spreadsheet
software in market.
Optional floppy disk drive is available
for storing the measurement
procedures/calculation results on a
removable media.
Tolerance judgment and statistical
processing of the measured data are
available.
In addition to a standard printer
paper, heavy-duty type (12AAA876,

MeasureReport/E
Order No.: 02ARA142
MeasureReport/E is a Microsoft Excel* Ver 5.0 based
inspection report creation software, capable of formatting the
measured data from Vision Unit/QSPak into an inspection
report that can be automatically printed out. Statistical
calculation, GO/NG judgment and printing out can be dealt
with macro commands. Thus, the time and cost involved in
creating an inspection report can be reduced dramatically
over the conventional way. Furthermore, the layout of
inspection report forms can be arranged as required with
graphical/image pasting functions.
Note: MeasureReport/E does not include Microsoft Excel Ver5.0.
It needs to be provided by the user.
