Sylvania BriteBeant- I 2OO

PAR 64 Mark II 56OOK

This new Sylvania BriteBeam lamp

for film, theatre and television
applications features a frosted arc
capsule that enhances the lamp's
color consistency across the entire
beam pattern. Moreover, the
special frosted arc capsule eliminates the slow changes that are
normally associated with lamp
aging. The result is a studio lamp
with very predictable output

throughout its life.

Like the original BriteBeam 1200
PAR 64, the new l\4ark ll has an
average rated life ol 1,000 hours.
Total light output remains at
100,000 lumens, with a center

intensity in excess of 1,000,000

beam candlepower.
The highly-efficient BriteBeam
1200 PAR 64 N4ark ll produces 84
lumens per watt, making it about
lour times more efficient than
incandescent or tungsten halogen
light sources. Designed as a daylight-quality fill-light for studio use
and location shots, this new medium
arc length light source has an initial color temperature ol 5600K.
Because of its high lumen output,
fewer lamps are needed to provide
desired illumination levels. Furthermore, Sylvania BriteBeam Iamps

produce significantly less heat than This results in more comlortable

standard incandescent or tungsten working conditions and less need
halogen light sources.
Ior costly studio cooling equipment.

The BriteBeam Mark ll has tour lens systems:
