Content Creator: Write weekly articles for the website centered on the voice of millennials and
share them on various platforms of social media. Articles can be on any topic and generally
about current events, pop culture, or relatable issues.

Special Contributing Writer: Shadowed the newspaper staff for a day and talked to someone in
every position available. Was assigned an article to be submitted on a loose deadline pertaining
to one school districts superintendent change.

Editor-in-Chief/Copy-Editor/Staffer: First year on staff entailed collecting quotes for photo
captions, editing photographs on Adobe photoshop Cs6, and completing layouts on InDesign
Cs6. As copy-editor I had to review all features and captions. As Editor-in-chief, I had to hold
meetings on progress, enforce deadlines, and build all layout templates for the yearbooks in
addition to creating the theme.

Contributing Writer for the JHS Happenings: Submitted articles weekly about special news events
going on at the high school. Maintained awareness of school events, found sources, and held
interviews. Wrote and submitted articles on the Tuesday deadline on top of the yearbook
editorial duties. All interviews and work done in the same class period.
