HARD OF HEARING Cambridgeshire Deaf Associa2on in conjunc2on with Sport Works have put together a programme of holiday sports clubs specically aimed at young deaf people. The aim of the clubs is to provide an opportunity for young deaf & hard of hearing people aged 8 to 16 to engage in a variety of sports ac2vi2es in an environment that is designed to meet their needs. There will be coaches at each activity trained in deaf awareness and a signer to help with communications. The activities are a mixture of multi sport games and specialised coaching on specific sports. Please find below dates & locations for the clubs this spring. Spring half term Tuesday 14th February - Cambridge University Sports Centre Friday 17th February - Sawtry Sports Centre (This includes activities in the swimming pool) Easter Thursday 5th & 6th April - Cambridge University Sports Centre Whitsun Tuesday 30th May - Cambridge University Sports Centre Wednesday 31st May - Hannams Wakeboarding Club, nr Ely (This includes activities on the lake)
