Objective To use my experience and education to help students succeed and achieve high levels of
learning in the 21st Century blended school and media center through utilization of
technology, critical thinking, and information fluency skills.

Creation and organization of the library/media center to promote an interest and
love of reading, while promoting other resources both digital and print.

Guiding students and help teach research skills to find and evaluate information
they may be looking for.
Creation and ongoing analysis and updating of the collection and inventory, taking
into account all students' needs and correlating the collection to fulfill those needs
and to differentiate as necessary to raise achievement and close the learning gap
(whether it be through digital, print, or other technological means).

Performance Standards/Core Curriculum and Performance tasks.

Studies, Technology, Current Events, Character Training, and Health.
Assessment of students using both formative and summative assessment,
anecdotal records, student and parent conferences, and data driven instruction.
Utilization and integration of technology into the curriculum to prepare students
for the 21st century classroom by utilizing items such as the Promethean Board,
Neos, Study Island, Accelerated Math, Accelerated Reading, STAR Math, and
STAR Reading, Compass Learning, Doceri, Earobics, iPads, and various created
power points, Podcasts, and presentations.
Open communication with parents concerning their childs progression,
observations, behavior, and successes.
