Become a ZMA Art Voyager, and begin your art adventure! Each month children in grades kindergarten through
third will travel through history or explore the globe to learn about a different culture or a new art form. Create an
exciting project, and receive a stamp in your Art Voyagers passport. Each stamp gets you one step closer to a
secret treasure.
Journey to Japan during the Edo Period, and discover the lasting beauty of Japanese woodblock printing. See how
the style has changed over the generations, and create your own relief block prints. Members: $5, Not-Yet-
Members: $7. All materials provided. Painting apron provided. Recommended for Grades K through 3.

Re-thinking is the first step in a journey to create a sustainable living way of life. Take a tour of the common rooms
of the 2,200 square foot house that utilizes tires, cans, old barn wood, bottles, straw bales and mud to form a
home that is heated by the sun, earth and wood. Enjoy a proper cup of tea, then spend some time chatting about
the latest trends in sustainability - or the realities of living sustainably in a consumer-oriented culture.
$10 per person (under 5 are free). Tours take about 2 1/2 hours (sometimes longer if there are lots of questions)

The WATER SHOW, Opening

Michael Seiler Studio and Gallery, 129 S 7th St, Zanesville
Collaboration between Michael and Kathleen Seiler, Michael's asphalt paintings and Kathleen's poetry will be on
exhibit at the Seilers Studio and Gallery from May 13th through July 13th. The opening reception will be May 13th
at 7:00 pm. The exhibition will use water as its main metaphor and explore the nuances of its impact in and on our
lives. The paintings are done in asphalt, alkyd, and oils and Kathy is our wordsmith. Food, wine, music, and even a
sea creature will be on hand for our guests
