Day that was held last week.

Week 1

Gap Identified: Past Tense

Learning Objectives / Success Criteria:


Students will be able to categories verbs into the correct type of tenses.

Awereness Raising Strategies: (MUST use authentic data minimum twice)

Intervention Activities:
1. In groups, students were given 5 minutes to go through a table of
Present and Past form. (Words are taken from the scripts).
2. Teacher collects all notes.
3. In groups, students will be given a table of Present and Past form and
strips.
4. Each group will stick the word strips in the columns accordingly.
5. Gallery walk. Students will move in groups, give
comments/amendment.
6. Whole class discussion on the correct answer.
7. Teacher distributes handout (individually)-sentences taken from the
script.
8. Students will replace the underlined verbs into correct past tense.
