jerry F. Villaflores, a fourth year Bachelor of Science in criminal student and the recent Student

Central Government President met a vehicular accident last november eighteen, 2016 at Duliao,

Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya.Jerry was driving his single motorcycle with a plate number 9138 QV

going home to Kasibu when he met the accident before going home, Jerry was said to be at his

aunts house in Bambang town proper and said Aunt I came here to visit you because it has been

a long time since my last visit Then afterwards he and his cousins` and his uncle drunk a bottle of

two-by-two. Then after that they played volleyball and bet for a snack. Jerrys team lose the

game, so they bought snack.

in past 8 oclock in the evening, Jerry bade goodbye to her aunt to go home to Kasibu. At first, her

aunt resisted and told him to wait until his uncle wakes up. He waited for a while but then he

insisted to go home and told her aunt to tell her husband that he already left nearby residence of

Duliao was said to be the informant of the accident. They brought him to the hospital. Jofferson T.

Backiawon, jerrys friend and classmate was the first person to be informed by the police about

the said accident. The then called his father to inform Jerrys family regarding the accident he

death of Jerry brought sorrow not only to his family but also to his KCP family.

In his wake, dean jaime l. pascual of the office of students affair said that a few days

before the accident, Jerry came to his office asking for pieces of advice on his plans for the

studentry as the SSC president.


The later then assures him that he will support him as long as it is for the benefit of the

students. He also added that he is a good student and servant leader.

jerry is a graduating student and will take his intern this summer.

purposes,MNHS conducted its annual school-based Youth for Environment Organization (YES-O) camp

Vizcayano on the go!The affair opened with a symposium on climate change and global warming

spearheaded by the science teachers and discussed by the deputy CENRO of Dupax del Norte, Forester III

Bernardino B. Aganon simultaneous activities on Sci-Dama, Science Quiz bee and Poster making contest

follow the symposium and concluded the day activities.

a search for lakambini and lakan ng kalikasan and sayawit competition highlight the night of the first day.

there were 10 ladies and eight (8) gentlemen who vied for the title. venus n. dayao, a grade 10 student

and mark paolo l. santiago, a grade 11 student won as lakambini and lakan respectively. furthermore,

camp b emerged as the sayawit champions.The second day was opened by a Zumba exercise which was

participated by all campers and was lead by Sir Alvin R. Abangan, the most energetic faculty member of

Munguia nationalhighschool. Succeeding activities on Solid waste management like segrageting, recycling

plastic wastes and entrepreneurship were also done.

Furthermore, a group of campers were also assigned to pick-up pieces of wastes and clean the

bank of Munguia river as one of the actions for the adopt-a-river program of the institution.moreover, a

tree planting activity was also done by the campers in the mini-forest found within the premises of the

school.Upon arrival, the participants were given two hours to come up with their photo exhibits.finally, a

closing program and awarding ceremony concluded the two-day affair.

kings college of the philippines- bambang campus celebrates cultural day at the schools

gymnasium, february 19, 2016. the masters of ceremony were mr. miller liborio and princess kaye

lim both teachers from laboratory high school it was entheme was public art, art for all

which was elaborated by mr. victor calingayan from the office of national commission on

indegenous people (ncip) - bayombong, nueva vizcaya. he defined culture as a shared tradition,

customs, practices, beliefs and social behavior of a particular group of people he also added that

every tribe must be recognized as stated on the law of the act of 1987, section 17-18 that the state

shall recognize, respect, and protect the right of the indigenous cultural communities to preserve

and develop their cultures, traditions and institutions. it shall consider these rights in the

formulation of national plans and policies. the state shall ensure equal access to cultural

opportunities through the educational system, public or private cultural entities, scholarships,

grants and other incentives and community cultural centers and other public venues.

he ended up his speech through advice that every individual must preserve the values and culture

becusse preservation of culture is a sign and manifestation of being an indigenous people.

after his spit, a plaque of appreciation is given for honorable victor calingayan for sharing his

precious time to be with us.


furthermore, kcp students together with the facultys and staffs wore their different ethnic attires as

they dance their cultural dances ? others wore barot saya and barong tagalog as they dance the

different folkdances in the Philippine dance presentations highlighting the customs and traditions

of filipinos made the celebration colorful and enjoyable.

the following are the folkdance presentations: the kalapati dance was performed by the bsa-1a;

binatbatan dance performed by the bsed-1; binislakan dance from grade 8, timothy. the grade 8

methusellah also danced tinikling.

the banduria group of dupax del norte naational high school maine campus showcased their talent as

they played several songs with their instrument. their last piece made the audience in awe because

they played it in blindfolds. local traditions were also portrayed by the different groups of students.

the kalanguyas, showed the essence of courtship and love when the criminology students and 5

female beed iii students executed the daniw that which was concluded by the kalinga dance

performed by the kalinga tribe.

consequently, literary performances like speech choir and balagtasan also graced the said affair.

aside from the dances, a singing competition was held and mr. bong humiding from the college of

criminology emeged as the champion followed by mr. jestonie pertible of bsit for the second place

and ms. alona jane velasco as the third placer among the five contenders coming from the college

and high school department. added to the celebration is the search for best in boots which

showcases the different products of the different tribes. best boots are awarded to the college of

business administration and accountancy tie with the college of bachelor of science in office

administration, the 2nd spot goes to the college of education. in poster making contest first place

goes to public administration, 2nd and 3rd place goes to laboratory high school. for the clay molding
competition, 3rd place- college of education, 2nd place- laboratory high school and 1st place goes to

college of business administration and accountancy. mrs. glanda p. garcia from the administration

and mr. theo van king cabbigat from the students were awarded as best in cultural ttire for this

years celebration. for the awarding of the best booth, the 1st place was a tie between the booth of

the bachelor of science in office administration (bsoa) and college of business administration and

accountancy (cbaa), 2nd place was the booth of the ted.

in poster making, the public administration department got the 1st place and for the 2nd and 3rd placers

was from laboratory high school. for clay molding the 3rd place was from ted, 2nd was from

laboratory high school and the 1st place was from cbaa.

kings college of the phils-bambang campus is already announces that they weree going to open the

institution for incoming senior high school students from all over the province and even nearby provinces.

the office of the vice president for academy affairs said that the school will be offering general academc

strands (gas); accountancy, business and management strand (abm); humanities and social sciences

strand (humms); science and technology,enginering and mathematics strand (stem) ; techvoc, home

economics (cluster a and b) and tech voc : information and communication technology (ict) ; tech voc,

livelihood track, industrial arts- electrical and installation and maintenance ; and tech voc livelihood

track strand automotive servicing. the Readiness of the school for senior high school is said to be 100%

because they already have the new building to accomodate the enrolees as well as the facilities and

equipment needed to run the curriculum. furthermore, faculty and staff are also preparing for the senior

high school.
