Alphabet Cards
o Use pictures on alphabet cards to practice all of phonemics awareness. The box of cards
has games in it as well. Like matching the beginning or ending sounds of the pictures.

Alphabet Knowledge Assessment


o Given to students to test their letter recognition ability. Can also be used with letter
sound association.
Core Phonics Survey
o This assessment tests letter recognition, letter sound association, consonants and
vowels, word patterns, and decoding.
Primary Spelling Inventory
o This spelling inventory tests letter sound association, initial and final sounds, consonants
and vowels, and word patterns.
Dolch Sight Word Assessment
o This assessment is for sight words and has a chart to keep up with progress.
Phonics Patterns Diagnostic Test
o This tests word patterns and decoding.

o A chart size coloring book with all of the letters. Can help will letter recognition and

o Use these for letter recognition, letter sound association and initial sounds.

cards can even be decoding practice words.
