    Outline
    The rubber material comprising the separation roller may wear out more quickly than is to be expected. To
    prevent this and improve the durability of the separation roller, the material has been changed to a silicone-
    type rubber material.

    [Phenomena]
    Double feeding-induced pick-up fault
    [Cause]
    The separation roller wears out more quickly than expected.
    [Factory measure]
    The separation roller material has been changed to a silicone-type rubber. Accompanying this modification,
    the color of the rubber material has been changed from gray to black for identification between the old and
    new separation roller. This modification is only for the separation roller, and other materials such as the pick-
    up roller, pick-up/feeder roller and torque limiter are not modified.

    If faulty pick-up due to double feeding occurs with a machine that has been in use for a long time, replace
    the separation roller with the new one and replace the pick-up roller and pick-up/feeder roller at the same
    time.
