major threat in public health worldwide. The study was conducted to determine the
air microbial population and detect the presence of airborne drug-resistant bacteria in
the Solid Waste Dumping site of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. Highest microbial
population was observed in sampling station 2 which was located nearer to the
ground. Using replica plating, six (6) isolates which were screened using selective
procedures.
