yourself to virtual violence. Everyone is watching more and more violence in the
mainstream media and social media every day! Though the world is safer than ever before
for human beings to flourish, violence is indeed in human nature. There is an uprising trend

As every human being is different so everyone behaves differently when exposed to virtual

internet. In my opinion, mass media including e-mail and blogs influence public in more of
negative way. This essay will further present this view and thus will lead to a logical

products. I am of the view that consumer should avoid over packed products as often it is
purely marketing. In this article, I will further explain my viewpoint with the valid example.
Recently I visited a supermarket to find plastic-wrapped bananas. In my view bananas
already come with their own natural biodegradable cover so what is the need for this extra
packaging. When I inquired from the company’s customer service, they reverted that it
keeps bananas fresh for long. I feel this extra plastic packaging makes the company eligible
to charge more for the same fruit.
Simply put, some products are unnecessarily over packed to make more money from the
consumer. Also, some product’s cover is specially designed to give the false perception of
greater value to the consumer. The consumer should avoid buying products that tend to be
over packed.
Instead, we can always carry our own bag to the supermarket to buy regular grocery or

attempt to achieve the goal. In our contemporary school systems, formal written

the level of knowledge in students and in the case of failure, they are made to repeat the
class. Through this conventional method, students are subjected to tests of control of the

computers, we have come a long way. Although all three of the innovations has shaped our
lives, in my view antibiotics is the most important invent for the past 100 years. In this post,
I will further explain my view point with valid examples.
It would have been very hard for the human civilization to progress further without these
miracle drugs. Antibiotics were not present 100 years ago. Penicillin was discovered in 1928
by Scottish scientist Alexander Fleming and it was the era of the 1940s that people began
using antibiotics to treat infections. Since then it has been recognized as one of the greatest

the law, parents are entitled to monitor and educate their children on what is right and
wrong, individually or socially. But it is also a moral and human duty.
Parents should be aware of their children acts or actions. It is quite often that a child can
cause harm to someone whether intentionally or unintentionally, in that case, it should be
the responsibility of parent towards the other person. Even if the harm is accidental, the
consequences can vary from minor to serious. It costs a hefty amount to the victim like in
property damage or theft cases. If the child is minor or is not financially supported, then
parents are to be held liable to pay for their child’s act. For example, my brother
accidentally injured a classmate so my parents compensated the family with his medical

In nutshell, no study suggests that the populations of Belgium or Australia for instance,
where compulsory voting has long existed, are better informed and more politically aware
than the populations of New Zealand, France, Canada or the Scandinavian countries, where
voting has never been compulsory.

I believe when public schools get the same status as of private schools and attract the

level of student’s performance without the effort being made by the student itself.

The food produced near the consumer is generally referred to as ‘local produced food’.
Many people equate ‘local food’ to fresh, healthy and produced in an environment-friendly
way. Having locally grown food has more of advantages than disadvantages for the
consumer, economy, environment and the community.
The food system has consolidated over the past many years. The food now travels over the
greater distances but the expert’s sight its negative impact on the environment and on the
health of the people. Due to extra packaging and refrigerate trucking distribution system, it
pollutes the environment and additionally increased the risk for food safety problems. The
chances of food contamination increase greatly as more the distance between the grower
and the consumer.

doubt implication of rapid urbanization for employment. There is increasing concern about
the problem of unemployment, especially in the developing countries. I don’t agree with the
view that rapid urbanization is the only effective way to deal with unemployment.
In developing nations, for example, Nigeria, most parts of the population lived from the
primary occupations of farming, fishing, poultry farming etc and rapid urbanization will
cause these people to move to urban cities. The supply of labor will increase the demand,
thus causing joblessness.
Rapid urbanization will also connote people from practicing farming or adopting agriculture
as a profession. The introduction of rapid urbanization will majorly hit agriculture sector.
The youths will abandon it in search of white-collar jobs and for the higher standard of living
in urban cities. Our ancestors have found a variety of job opportunities in rural areas but
urbanization will force the people to move to cities. The economic analysts believe that
urbanization is the root cause for increasing rate of unemployment in developing nations.
One such example is Nigeria.
The outcomes from various surveys also indicate that the unemployment is significantly
higher in urban cities than in rural areas as rural people are usually engaged in self-
employment. In conclusion, I believe urbanization alone cannot be the explanation as for
unemployment. The need is to employ people effectively in the rural sector than to
introduce rapid urbanization.
Working and living abroad helps us to know other cultures well. How far you think
working abroad has good or bad impacts on our cultural lives?

The individuals working and living abroad realizes the importance of knowing about the
cultural differences that surround them. And to know and relate to other’s culture well, one
needs to be well versed with one’s own culture and values. I believe working abroad has a
more good impact on our cultural lives than bad.
The awareness of differences in culture is important for us and especially for individuals
working and living away from their home country. There are many cultural differences
surrounding those people. For example, in most of the countries, shaking the head in a
horizontal direction implies NO while in India it means YES. Laughing signifies happiness
universally but in Japan, it indicates a sense of confusion, in secureness, and
embarrassment. So to learn much about such differences, one need to be aware of the
culture of people surrounding them. Consciously or unconsciously our culture is part of our
daily life and living around people with such diverse background increases our knowledge
about ourselves like beliefs, body language, communication style or other characteristics
with which we see the outside world.
The world is diverse and I think more exposure to such experiences improves one’s own
cultural life. By interacting with those people around us we can learn new learning or new
norms. Learning about other’s experiences, we get a chance to see the things with a
different perspective and it opens up a whole new world in front of us. It also saves us from
the empathy of ‘culture shock’. On the whole, working and living abroad will make up the

and children. I support equal opportunity for women to work and excel in their career and
disregard any discrimination against women in the field of employment.
Women are now business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, astronauts. Every day with their
passion for work and excellence, changing the rules of success. Earlier the labour of wives
was supposed to belong to husband and families but now it is assumed that women as a
community would benefit from the strength of their work, career and paid employment.
Some experts also believe there is a direct relationship between economic development and
women’s empowerment. Given equal chance to succeed, women can perform any task and
excel in all fields. For example, Dr. Valentina Tereshkova was the first female to go into
space.
There exists a paradoxical situation in our society which treats women sometimes as
Goddess and at other times merely as a slave. Women are meant to take care of children,
family members which are often unpaid. Such barriers are preventing women to excel in the

The world is full of diverse music and cultures from different communities. Though there is
no specific type of music, still some of the popular music types include Jazz, Hip Hop, Rock,

polygamy i.e. co-wives sharing one man has gained momentum in recent years. After seeing
a positive trend in the rate of its acceptance, the experts predicted polygamy to be legalized
in the coming years. This practice needs to be addressed as soon as possible. I am laying out
some solutions to decrease this issue in this essay.
Why there is a spike in the practice of polygamy? One reason could be the popularity of
television shows like Sister Wives and Big Love. Both the shows documents the life of a
polygamist family. Such shows are introducing polygamy to the viewers as “modest

World. Where some people see the future, I believe it to be extremely unethical as it will
replace material things to a great extent.
The scientists have successfully cloned human embryos and have been theoretically seen to
clone humans. If legalized in the future, it has the potential for the illicit cloning of you and
purposely using it for devastating activities. Cloning someone’s favourite celebrity or raising

to engage in criminal activities and substance abuse. So academic achievement is important
to develop responsible and active people in society. With this view, teachers should only

the hosting country. There are some who feel that the government should not promote
foreign companies and instead help the local companies. This essay disagrees with this view
to a great extent because the upsides are the influx of foreign capital and heavy investment
that multinational companies bring into developing countries.
In general, multinational companies operate in several countries. In the recent time, many
developed countries refuse to part their GDP with developing countries and assist them.
And here comes large multinational companies that bridge this gap of foreign investment
requirement in the developing economies. The influx of foreign currency by the large
multinational companies create an environment of jobs and opportunities for the
developing countries.
Another important reason to support multinational companies is that they bring in latest
and advanced technology to the developing countries. They also upgrade the working class

Education opens up a door of opportunities for its seeker. Apart from seeking knowledge,
there are a variety of reasons for which people attend college or university. For some
college is just high school continued while for some, it is a way to gain skills and experience.
Although it is difficult to consider all of them here, I have listed 3 reasons for which I think
people attend college or university.
One primary reason is the option to explore subjects. In high school, the subjects are taught
in a shallow manner. College or university offers major in subjects that interest students or
might have studied in high school so the students get the opportunity to explore the
subjects in greater depth than they did in high school.
The second reason is to help improve the community. Modern humans live in communities.
Going to college or university help the students to learn about laws and resources that can
bring a difference in the community. The opportunity to serve as a role model for other

college degree is considered basic and necessary education these days. The studies show
