    VENDOR ENLISTMENT FOR O&M WORKS PACKAGE ON PAN NTPC BASIS

    2 Brief description of CEG Overhauling of Rotary Air-preheaters and its Auxiliaries including
    associated ducts/dampers (Unit size of 200MW & above)

    3 Responsibility Centre NRHQ

    4 Brief scope of work Overhauling of Rotary Air-preheaters and its Auxiliaries including
    associated ducts/dampers:
    1. Internal washing of Air-Preheater and opening of all
    manholes and doors.
    2. Main Drive Gear Box servicing day start of work.
    3. Making Scaffolding at C.E. for Basket Removal.
    4. Fixing of hoist beam at H.E. Gas side for basket removal.
    5. Removal of baskets H.E. HIE & C.E. for high pressure jet
    cleaning.
    6. C.E. grating, Intermediate grating, rotor diaphragm, stay
    plate repairing/replacement.
    7. After washing and draining of water Baskets H.E.,H.I.E. &
    C.E. placement. OR replacement with new baskets.
    8. Repairing / Replacement of inboard & outboard static seal,
    Axial Seal Plate Assembly & filling of Kaowool.
    9. Dismantling / Rearing / Replacement of Air Seal Housing &
    filling of Kaowool to avoid flue gas leakage during running.
    10. Inspection of Guide Bearing, Support bearing & cleaning,
    box up & filling new oil. Replacement as per requirement.
    11. Repairing / Replacement of Rotor Angle &T-Bar.
    12. Sector Plate repairing/replacement/leveling H.E. & C.E.
    13. Fixing / setting of all seals.
    14. Repairing of inside Casing & Support.
    15. Checking / repairing/replacement of APH I/L & O/L
    Expansion joints. Fixing the Cover Plate on Expansion Joints.
    16. Checking the Soot Blower Lance Tube Assy. Movement etc.
    17. Checking & servicing of fire detection systems.
    18. Servicing of LOP’s of Support & Guide Bearings.
    19. Checking the Cooling Water Lines Valves.
    20. Shifting of material, erection of approach platform(s),
    removal of insulation & other related jobs as per site
    requirement.
    21. Other details of works shall be given in Tender documents.
    5 Technical Qualifying The applicant should have executed Erection/ Overhauling job of
    Requirements complete Rotary Air-Preheater in Unit size of minimum capacity of
    200 MW in a Thermal Power Plant during the last five years from
    the date of application.

    6 Additional Documents to be In addition to the documents required in support of meeting


    submitted technical requirements as stated above, following documents are
    required to be submitted by the Applicants applying for enlistment:-
    1. Three POs with BOQ of the highest executed values of similar
    work during previous five years from the date of application and
    Copy of Completion Certificate /RA Bill/final deviation
    statement from the concerned client in support of execution of
    job against each of the POs to be submitted.
    2. Audited balance sheet including Profit & Loss statement for the
    previous three completed financial years reckoned from the date
    of application. In case the audited documents are not ready /
    available, then certified copy by a registered practicing
    Chartered accountant may be submitted.
    3. NSIC / SSI / MSME registration certificate, if applicable
    4. PF and Service Tax registration certificate
    5. List of all required Tools & Plants with populations available with
    the applicant.
    6. Any other documents in addition to the above which the
    applicant wants to submit.
    7 Notes 1. Similar work means Erection/ Overhauling job of complete
    Rotary Air-Preheater and its Auxiliaries including associated
    ducts/dampers in Unit size of minimum capacity of 200MW in a
    Thermal Power Plant during the last five years from the date of
    application.
    2. Value means basic value of the PO. Where PO value is composite
    (i.e. including Service taxes etc.), the applicant has to give break-
    up of composite PO value mentioning basic value, taxes etc. Any
    separate re-imbursement/ escalation shall also not be
    considered.
