    It’s my absolute pleasure to recommend Shelly Schantz for an administration position. I have
    been fortunate enough to have worked with wonderful teachers throughout my career. Shelly
    stands out among my colleagues. Shelly’s compassion, integrity, and generosity makes her an
    invaluable member of our staff. She is a leader at our weekly collaboration meetings. Shelly’s
    knowledge of pedagogy and instructional practices has made her a mentor for many teachers in
    our building and district. Shelly is approachable. She makes herself available and genuinely puts
    our students’ best interests above all else. Shelly leads professional development in our district,
    takes initiative in curriculum planning, and is an integral part of our School Improvement team.
    As her coworker, I can vouch for her sincerity to her work and the exceptional contribution that
    she has made to make our school what it is now.

    Shelly would be the administrator that all teachers would want to work with. Shelly’s experience
    across all ages gives her an edge above others. Administrators wear many hats. Shelly would be
    exceptional at managing student behaviors, communicating with families, collaborating with
    school district members and community organizations, and ensuring the school remains in
    compliance with legal responsibilities. Shelly also demonstrates integrity and high standards of
    professionalism.

    In the role of a colleague, Shelly has always proved herself a kind and helpful person. Going the
    extra mile for her colleagues and students is second nature to her, and I have often looked up to
    her for advice and mentorship. Shelly has always acted with the best interest of her school,
    students, and colleagues. Without hesitation, I strongly recommend her for an administration
    position as I believe she can contribute highly and successfully in every aspect of principal.
