CLASS DESCRIPTION
The students in this beginner class are aged between 11-12. They are in their third year of
English, so they should be familiar with English grammar and vocabulary. They are
enthusiastic and looking forward to learn new things. They are still reluctant to speak in
English, but they express themselves in small sentences.

Anticipated Problems:
The students may not fully understand the tasks requested by the teacher due to their little
knowledge of the English language.

The teacher asks students to open their books at pg.51 and read ex 4. They must read the clues
and find out the rooms and parts of the house in the picture. Students work in pairs and solve
the task. T monitors the activity and then asks a pair or two to read their answers.

The teacher asks students to solve the exercise from the worksheet, Parts of the House 2. The
teacher tells the students to choose the correct answer. The students comply and begin to work
in pairs. At the end of the exercise, they state their answers.

At the end of the class, the teacher and the students summarize the activities they did. The
teacher gives marks to the students who gave the correct answers during the entire class. If the
exercises are not finished, the students must do them at home as homework.
