Family and Home

Achievement
At the end of the learning unit the student will be able to talk
about his family members, to describe his physical appeareance
and personality characteristics. Additionaly, the student will be
able to describe his home and neigborhood and to follow
directions.

Importance
People love to talk about their home and family, especially
about those peculiar physical or personality characteristics that
they share. What is more, we as responsable citizens need to
know about our home and neighborhood. In order to so, it is
important to learn the appropriate vocabulary and grammatical
structures to do it with pertinence.

Possessive ´s
Possessive ’S

For singular nouns, we use the apostrophe before the s:

My brother ’s name is Juan.

For plural nouns, we use the apostrophe after the s:

Your uncles ’ mother is my grandmother.
